Lori Wall Beds: The Ultimate Hide-a-Bed and Urban Space Saver


Q - What kind of mattresses will I need?
A – Lori Wall Beds will accommodate any mattress as long as it does not exceed 11.5” in depth.

Q – Do you have a retail outlet?
A – Our store is web based at this time.

Q – How much space do I need?
A – Our bed dimension chart which includes the space you will need to pull the bed down and put it away.

Q – Do you ship overseas?
A – Please request a quote via e-mail.

Q – What are the beds made of?
A – Birch plywood and poplar boards.

Q – How do the beds attach to the wall?
A – You will be provided with 3 Toggle Bolt Anchors. For installation into concrete or brick, please consult your local hardware store for the proper hardware.

Q – How does the mattress stay put?
A – The mattress rests on a 2x4 board at the head of the bed and the foot of the mattress is held by nylon straps.

Q – How does the bed work without lifting/lowering mechanisms?
A – There are no mechanical aides for lifting/lowering the platform other than rounded wood “rockers” on which the bed rolls into and out of the cabinet.

Q – What type of flooring does the bed need to be on?
A – Lori Wall Beds can be put on any type of floor as long as it is even.

Q – What keeps the bed in the “upward” position?
A – The weight of the mattress keeps the bed in the upright position and you will be provided safety latches.

Q – Can I keep blankets on the bed?
A – Fitted sheets and/or thin covers are fine, but if you would like to keep a thicker comforter/blanket on the bed, then we recommend a mattress no thicker than 10”.

Q – Do you sell additional components?
A – At this time we do not sell additional items, but we are excited to introduce new items in the very near future
